Brenda Barnes was working at least 70 hours a week as an operating room nurse when she was first introduced to the QUIXTAR® business opportunity. She initially didn't see the business fitting into her already-busy life but she took a closer look at the income potential and her interest was piqued. She was particularly interested in finding more flexibility in her schedule so she could have more time with her family.
At first, Brenda found herself scared of many aspects of building her QUIXTAR business. As a nurse working in an operating room, she didn't have to talk to many people. Developing communication skills was one of her biggest challenges. But with the encouragement from her support team and sponsors and their mentorship, she gained a great deal of confidence in dealing with people. Brenda credits her success so far largely to her mentors.
Brenda has discovered that there are many people out there looking for something different. Single, married, kids or no kids - people from all walks of life are searching for opportunities. She believes that, no matter what your background, you only have to be persistent and stick with your goals and you'll be successful.
