Grand Valley State University is a school of 22,000 students in West Michigan. The university has a long-standing relationship with Quixtar, its parent company, Alticor, and their founding families.

Mark Murray applauds the DeVos and Van Andel families, founders of Alticor, for their strong support of higher education in West Michigan. With the DeVos campus downtown and the Van Andel Global Trade Center, Grand Valley and its students have benefited greatly from the presence of the Alticor family.
