When Joe and Dawn Pici first saw the Quixtar business, he was a football coach and she had just retired from a career in opera and teaching at the college level. With two small children, the Picis were looking for a way to earn some extra income so Dawn could stay home with the kids.
For the Picis, the best benefit of the business model is that it helps people with no business background start their own business with very little risk.
The Picis have found that one of the keys to building a successful Quixtar business is helping brand-new IBOs become profitable as quickly as possible. They support people they've brought into the business by helping them with details, such as how to make a phone call, how to sell products, and how to create a target market.
Joe and Dawn believe a successful Quixtar business is a balance between sponsoring and selling product. Dawn enjoys focusing on sales while Joe concentrates on sponsorship, and the balance they've achieved works well for them.
The Picis also credit their success in part to the support they receive from the Corporation, stating that they've always found friendly people at Quixtar Inc. who are prepared to do everything in their power to help IBOs achieve their goals.
