As longtime supporters of the American Red Cross, Quixtar and its parent company, Alticor, recognize the value of relief efforts in a time of crisis. From the tragedy of September 11, 2001, to the devastation of the December 2004 Indian Ocean tsunami, Quixtar Inc. and Quixtar Independent Business Owners have continued to be generous contributors to the humanitarian response to these and other crises.

Lisa Marks recognizes that helping others is a strong part of the Quixtar culture. She believes this ethic was implemented by founders Rich DeVos and Jay Van Andel, and she is impressed with the company's commitment to giving - not only in Michigan but around the world.
