When David Vanderveen first launched his product in the U.S., he saw value in the personal connections made by Quixtar Independent Business Owners (IBOs). He knew he had found people who could sample the drinks and tell the product story.

When XS Energy Drinks launched with Quixtar in September 2002, sales skyrocketed to generate more than $51 million in revenue in the first year, making it the second-best selling energy drink in North America.

Vanderveen attributes his success to Quixtar IBOs and their ability to take over a hot category and build a young brand.
